EMCOR announced that its subsidiary EMCOR Government Services has been awarded two contracts for preventive maintenance services for, and repair of, facilities systems for the Texas Gulf Coast and the Arizona Regions of U.S. Customs and Border Protection. EMCOR Government Services will be responsible for systems in a total of two million square feet of space throughout 340 individual CBP facilities. The facilities vary in size and function and span more than 900 miles along the nationís southern border. EGSís scope of work includes repair and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration systems, as well as operation and repair of emergency power, security, fire and life safety, and elevator systems. EGS will also provide water treatment and energy management services.

EMCOR announced that its subsidiary Harry Pepper & Associates, has been awarded a contract by the Florida Inland Navigation District for the construction of a dredged material management area in Flagler County, Florida. Harry Pepper will be responsible for the construction of a dredged material management area, including of a permanent perimeter and site bypass, road site clearing and grubbing, and fencing. The scope of work also includes fabrication and installation of three steel box weirs and on accompanying structure, installation of various piping and culverts, and landscaping.
