Consolidated Edison to compensate victims of Harlem blast, WSJ reports Consolidated Edison is compensating nearly 90 survivors and residents displaced by the East Harlem explosion and building collapses, the Wall Street Journal reports. Federal investigators yesterday said they found a leak in the gas main "adjacent" to 1646 Park Avenue. An official cause for the blast and collapses has not been determined. Reference Link
