News Breaks March 14, 2013 06:19 EDT EBAY, MA eBay guidance already reflects added MasterCard charges, says Piper Jaffray Piper Jaffray notes that during an industry conference yesterday, MasterCard (MA) referenced text from eBay's (EBAY) annual report when speaking about a new digital wallet fee that will go into effect July 1 of this year. Piper says MasterCard will charge PayPal increased fees to use it as a funding method and that these fees will be paid on an annual basis. However, after speaking with somebody close to eBay, Piper thinks these changes are already reflected into the company's 2013 guidance. The firm keeps an Overweight rating on eBay shares with a $63 price target. eBay shares dropped nearly 4% yesterday to $50.98. The reduction would lower Visa Europe's interbank credit fees to 0.3%, the same level as that of MasterCard (MA), EU stated, Reuters reported.
