Airbus said it won 754 orders in the first eight months of the year, Reuters reports. The company sold 40 A320-family planes to an undisclosed customer in addition to the order for 250 Airbus A320neo jets from India's biggest airline, the report says. Airbus delivered 397 planes from January to August, the report adds. Net aircraft orders totaled 708 in the first eight months of the year, excluding cancelations, the report says. Reference Link

Airbus has delayed the delivery of its A389 superjumbo to Transaero Airlines in order to help the carrier cope with slowing travel demand domestically, Bloomberg reports, citing comments from Airbus' Chris Buckley, executive VP for customer affairs, in an interview at the Moscow Air Show.
