EADS (EADSY) is said to be considering a share buyback as part of the company's planned restructuring, according to a Wall Street Journal report that cites people familiar with the plan. The report says that Daimler AG (DDAIF) and Lagardere which hold 15% and 7.5% of EADS stock repsectively, plan to divest these stakes in the coming months and that a share buyback by EADS would be aimed at mitigating any negative effects these divestitures may have on the company's share price.
