DirecTV (DTV) confirmed that it will not move forward in its pursuit of Vivendi's (VIVHY) GVT unit in Brazil and has withdrawn from the sale process, reported Reuters. Vivendi has put the sale on hold after DirecTV pulled out, the report added, citing people familiar with the matter. Reuters noted that a consortium of private equity groups led by KKR (KKR) had offered a lower price than DirecTV, as previously reported. Reference Link | |
