12:02 EDTDTEEDF Renewable Services signs agreement for 75MW with DTE Energy
EDF Renewable Services has signed a multiyear Operations and Maintenance agreement with DTE Energy for the 75 megawatt Brookfield Wind Park. Located in Huron County, Michigan, and consisting of 44 General Electric 1.7 MW turbines, Brookfield Wind Park joins the Thumb, Echo, and Gratiot Wind Parks, currently under contract with EDF Renewable Services, for a total of 400 MW. Under the terms of the agreement, EDF Renewable Services will provide selected O&M for the turbines and balance of plant, project oversight, and 24/7 remote monitoring from its NERC compliant Operations Control Center.

11:01 EDTDTEDTE Energy's Echo Wind Park begins commercial operation
DTE Energy's Echo Wind Park has reached commercial operation. The Echo Wind Park in Huron County adds another 112 megawatts to DTE Energy's renewable energy portfolio, or enough to power 52,000 homes. The wind park, primarily in Oliver and Chandler townships in Michigan's Thumb area, is sited on nearly 16,000 acres. The wind park is the fourth to be owned and operated by DTE Energy.
