Exxon Mobil (XOM) is looking for oil in high-risk exploration area worldwide, and is being less selective than other big oil companies, reports the Wall Street Journal. Exxon is exploring in eight of the "hot," high-risk exploration regions around the world identified by Sanford C. Bernstein, and is looking for two more.
