B. Riley said Demand Media's (DMD) hiring of Sean Moriarity as CEO bring two major advantages, a proven executive in the Los Angeles area and one with deep relationships with IAC Interactive (IACI). The analyst believes Demand Media will try to sell itself to IAC Interactive once the spin is complete. Shares are Buy rated wit a $21 price target.
