May 13, 2013 12:24 EDT DLR DuPont Fabros advances after Jefferies ups rating to Buy Data center owner DuPont Fabros (DFT) is climbing after a Jefferies analyst upgraded the stock to Buy from Hold in a note to investors earlier today. WHAT'S NEW: DuPont Fabros' funds from operations, or FFO, should jump 22% in 2014, Jefferies analyst Omotayo Okusanya wrote. FFO is a measure of profitability used by companies that, like DuPont Fabros, are REITs, or real estate investment trusts. DuPont Fabros should benefit from two data centers that it's in the process of building, while the outlook for leases at two of its existing facilities are set to improve, Okusanya believes. Moreover, the company trades at a significantly lower valuation than its peers, even though its earnings growth is higher, reported the analyst, whose target on the stock rose to $32 from $27. TODAY'S PRICE ACTION: In early afternoon trading, DuPont Fabros rose 66c, or 2.5%, to $26.80.
