DFC Global announced the acquisition of ten pawnbroking stores in the United Kingdom. The company intends to immediately rebrand the stores as “The Money Shop” stores and expand the product offering to include the full array of the company’s products including short-term loans, money transfer, debit cards and a number of other products and services. Consideration for the acquisition, including pledge book, is $6.4M, and the acquisition is expected to be immediately accretive to earnings. | |
