Oprah Winfrey's OWN channel, in which Discovery Communications (DISCA) has a stake, may have reached a couple of turning points this month, according to The New York Times. Winfrey's interview with Lance Armstrong was a huge coup for the channel, and OWN started getting much higher fees from cable and satellite operators this month, the newspaper reported.
