Broadcast networks were backed by the Justice Department on Monday in their dispute against Aereo, an online video streaming startup, Re/code reports. The Justice Department, which asked the Supreme Court to reverse a lower court's decision that was in favor of Aereo, said Aereo's broadcast television streaming service infringes on broadcasters' copyrights. Agilent Technologies announced it will no longer report orders in its periodic filings with the SEC or its quarterly earnings press releases, effective immediately. This change reflects feedback from several of the company's largest shareholders, and was also driven by the fact that Agilent was the only company among its peers to report orders. The other financial metrics included in the company's reporting provide comprehensive detail about Agilent's performance.
