Danaher (DHR) announced that it has extended the tender offer, through its wholly owned subsidiary Daphne Acquisition Corp., for all outstanding shares of common stock of IRIS International (IRIS) to 12:00 midnight, ET, on Oct. 29, unless further extended. The tender offer was previously scheduled to expire at 12:00 midnight, ET, on Oct. 18. The tender offer has been extended to allow investors to consider revised disclosures in an amendment to IRIS's Solicitation/Recommendation Statement on Schedule 14D-9. The tender offer is being made in accordance with the previously announced agreement and plan of merger, dated Sept. 17, by and among Danaher, Daphne Acquisition Corp. and IRIS. Except for the extension of the expiration date, all other terms and conditions of the tender offer remain unchanged. | |
