14:41 EDTDELL, BXIcahn won't rule out proxy fight for Dell, WSJ says
Carl Icahn is not agreeing to Dell's (DELL) committee request of dropping his right to a proxy fight in return for reimbursement by Dell of discovery expense, a deal that bidding groups led by Silver Lake Partners and Blackstone (BX) have both been granted. In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Icahn said he is exploring his earlier proposal for a dividend, which would require a proxy fight. Icahn has made a preliminary bid to buy up to 58% of Dell but as of yet has not engaged in talks with Michael Dell, notes WSJ. Reference Link
