Piper Jaffray said its weekend channel checks indicate accelerated markdowns in cold-weather categories both in boots and outerwear. The firm said it continues to see evidence of higher markdowns of UGG boots and lowered its Q4 earnings estimate for Deckers Outdoor to $2.51 from $2.57. Piper keeps a Neutral rating on the stock with a $35 price target. |
