08:43 EDTDDD3D Systems announces new Ohio facility
3D Systems announced that it has opened a new 30,500 square-foot facility in Barberton, Ohio to expand its manufacturing capacity for 3D printer filament materials and plastic extrusion. The expansion stems from growing demand for the company's consumer 3D printers and is based on its acquisition of Village Plastics last year. The new facility in Barberton dramatically expands 3DS' capacity for both manufacturing 3D printer filaments and the research and development of new and innovative thermoplastic materials.
