China Yuchai International announced that the Nanning Public Transport Corporation has accepted the YC6G270 diesel engines supplied by the Company's main operating subsidiary, Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Co. Ltd, or GYMCL, for use in 100 of its new buses. These double-decker buses manufactured by Xiamen Golden Dragon Co., Ltd. were put into operation prior to the China-ASEAN Expo 2012 and the Nanning International Folk Song Arts Festival in September and October 2012 respectively. In addition, GYMCL's Euro V-compliant YC6L240N natural gas engines have been used by the Hangzhou Public Transport Corporation in 33 new buses during China's National Day holidays in October in the Xihu district of Hangzhou, Zhejiang province. This is the first batch of Euro V-compliant natural gas engines being used in Hangzhou's public transport and in the entire Zhejiang province. | |
