CPI Aerostructures (CVU) announced that it received orders totaling approximately $14M from Northrop Grumman (NOC) for Outer Wing Panel kits. The kits are for use in the manufacture of complete wings for the C-2 Greyhound and the Japan Air Self-Defense Force E-2C airborne early warning and control aircraft. The C-2 Greyhound's primary mission is to transport cargo, aircraft parts, mail and passengers to deployed Carrier Strike Groups.

(GRMN), announced the selection of the GSX 70, a full-featured solid-state weather radar by Northrop Grumman (NOC) for the U.S. Air Force fleet of RQ-4 Global Hawk unmanned aircraft systems. Equipped to fly at a maximum altitude of 60,000 feet with an endurance of 32+ hours, the Global Hawk is a high-altitude, long-endurance UAS.
