07:55 EDTCVC, DISH, AMCXDolan testifies that AMC would have been successful but for DISH, Bloomberg says
Cablevision Systems (CVC) founder Charles Dolan told a jury there’s “no question” its HD-TV service called Voom would have made money if Dish Network (DISH) hadn’t terminated their 15 year broadcasting deal, reports Bloomberg. Dolan, chairman of Cablevision and AMC Networks (AMCX), testified in lawsuit in which AMC claims Dish wrongfully ended their TV programming contract after two years, leaving it with “massive” losses. AMC seeks $2.4B in damages from Dish, founded by Charles Ergen and formerly known as EchoStar.Reference Link

The firm views the nTelos deal positively as it gives DISH a head start in developing a broadband offering in case it acquires Sprint. The firm keeps an Outperform rating on Sprint.
