In Asia, Chinese trade data showed exports climbed 14.7% in April, while imports were up 16.8%. However, some analysts expressed caution that the strong export gains should be viewed with some level of skepticism. Penney (JCP) released preliminary Q1 results last night, including comparable store sales that were down 16.6% and revenue of $2.64B, which was below expectations.
