05:32 EDTPEG, CSIQCanadian Solar sells utility-scale solar power plants to PSEG
Canadian Solar (CSIQ) and PSEG (PEG) announced that Canadian Solar's subsidiary, CSI Holdco sold two utility-scale solar power plants totaling 4.4 MW DC to PSEG subsidiary, PSEG Solar Source. The plants have a 20-year off taking agreement with PG&E. The closing occurred on December 16. Construction started in July of 2013, with commercial operation expected in early 2014. Blue Oak Energy is providing turnkey engineering, procurement and construction services to complete the projects and will provide operations and maintenance services after completion.
