UBS ran an LBO analysis on Coach and said a private equity deal is unlikely. The firm said sponsors would need a massive 6.8B in equity in order to offer a meager 20% premium to the current price. The firm said strategic buyers such as LVMH are unlikely interested in a lower brand and Burberry does not represent a good fit. | |
