09:47 EDTCMTLComtech announces $18M three month contract
Comtech Telecommunications announced that its Maryland-based subsidiary, Comtech Mobile Datacom Corporation, received a three month undefinitized contract which calls for the continued supply of satellite bandwidth, through June 30, 2012, for the U.S. Army's Blue Force Tracking and Movement Tracking System programs. This satellite bandwidth contract is separate and distinct from Comtech's receipt of an undefinitized $80.7M indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity BFT-1 sustainment contract announced earlier today. This three month undefinitized satellite bandwidth contract has been initially funded in the amount of $18M and the pricing for the satellite bandwidth has not yet been finalized. This contract does not include any optional performance periods.
