10:01 EDTCMTL, HRSComtech awarded $6.5M buying agreement from Harris
Comtech (CMTL) announced that its subsidiary, Comtech EF Data, was awarded a $6.5M buying agreement from Harris (HRS). Under the buying agreement, Harris will purchase Comtech EF Data ground equipment to support the satellite network upgrade of the Federal Aviation Administration's Alaskan Satellite Telecommunications Infrastructure program. The not to exceed $6.5M buying agreement encompasses a range of Comtech EF Data ground equipment, including the CDM-625 Advanced Satellite Modem with DoubleTalk Carrier-in-Carrier, redundancy switches, and RF products for indoor and outdoor environments.

10:00 EDTCMTLComtech signs $6M purchase agreement for high-power amplifiers
Comtech Telecommunications announced that its New York-based subsidiary, Comtech PST Corp., signed a Purchase Agreement valued at $6M and received multiple orders pursuant to the Agreement totaling approximately $3.7M from a major domestic OEM to supply solid-state high-power amplifiers. The balance of orders under the agreement are expected to be received over the next fifteen months. These amplifiers are key components in a complex Identification Friend or Foe system used to interrogate aircraft to determine their friend or foe status. This order supplements an installed base of Comtech IFF solid-state high-power amplifiers previously delivered to this customer.
