Wells Fargo notes that total November Class 8 truck factory shipments declined 18% from October and were down approximately 2% year-over-year according to Ward's data. The data indicated Cummins (CMI) maintained overall Class 8 truck engine market share leadership while Navistar's (NAV) engine market share dropped to a five year low, Wells added. For captive engine suppliers, Daimler (DDAIF) gained share while Volvo (VOLVY), PACCAR (PCAR) and Navistar saw declines. Wells views the data as negative for Navistar, positive for Daimler and Cummins, and neutral for Volvo and PACCAR.
