17:05 EDTCMI, NAV, PCARNovember Class 8 Truck Orders miss expectations, says Wells Fargo
Wells Fargo says November truck orders were below expectations and an indication that October's strong performance may have pulled order activity out of November. The firm notes November Class 5-8 truck net orders decreased 13% from October's 45,375 but grew 14% year-over-year. Class 8 orders were weaker than anticipated and fell 19% from October, it added. Wells views the report to be a short-term negative for truck related stocks Cummins (CMI), Navistar (NAV) and PACCAR (PCAR).
