14:02 EDTCMECME Group moves Kansas City wheat futures to Chicago trading floor
CME Group announced it will transition open outcry trading of Kansas City Board of Trade hard red winter wheat futures and options to its Chicago trading floor beginning July 1. The last day of open outcry trading on the KCBT floor will be June 28. CME Group will operate an electronic trading center in the former KCBT floor space until the end of September.

Total volume for March was more than 295M contracts, of which 86% was traded electronically. CME Group interest rate volume averaged 7M contracts per day in March, up 35% from March 2013. Eurodollar futures volume averaged 2.8M contracts per day, up 47% from the same period a year ago.
