The company said the metrics are getting better, reinforcing their decision to accelerate X1 deployment, adding 15,000-20,000 boxes per day. The Sochi Olympics generated $1.1B in revenue to NBCUniversal, contributing positively in operating cash flow. NBC Prime Time averages for the Olympics were 6% from 2006 Winter Olympics, the last Olympic games it was in the same time zone. The company said momentum in broadcasting and ratings improvement has continued into 2014, with the company citing success with The Voice, Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and Late Night with Seth Meyers.
