New York regulators can block the merger between Comcast (CMCSA) and Time Warner Cable (TWC) from occurring within the state, Brad Ramsay, the top lawyer for the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners. said, The Washington Post reported yesterday. Time Warner Cable has more than 2.5M customers in New York, and Comcast has made efforts this week to convince state regulators to approve the deal, the newspaper stated. Reference Link
