Comcast (CMCSA) subscribers will be able to watch "House of Cards" without Netflix (NFLX), Variety reports. The series will be available through a deal Comcast struck with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (SNE), Comcast Cable president and CEO Neil Smit said at the Deutsche Bankís 2014 Media, Internet and Telecom Conference. "Orange Is the New Black "will be hitting Comcast Xfinity Store on May 13, through the operatorís distribution deal with Lionsgate (LGF). Reference Link

T3Media announced an expanded agreement with Sony Pictures Entertainment, a unit of Sony, to allow T3Media to manage the licensing and distribution of the entire SPE stock footage archive. Starting in September, more than 140K clips SPE's stock footage archive will be available for the production community to license via T3Licensing.com.
