The Company will contribute the net proceeds of the offering to its operating partnership in exchange for common units of limited partnership interest in the operating partnership. The Company’s operating partnership intends to use the net proceeds to pay a portion of the $90 million purchase price for the acquisition of a upscale extended-stay hotel located in San Diego, California. Barclays is acting as sole book-running manager for the offering.

Chatham Lodging Trust announced that its Board of Trustees has voted to raise its monthly dividend by 25%, or 2c per share. On an annualized basis, the dividend will increase 24c to $1.20 per share, compared to 96c in 2014. Chatham’s Board declared the company’s first monthly common share dividend of 10c for January 2015, reflecting the 25% increase. The common share dividend is payable February 27, 2015, to shareholders of record on January 30, 2015. The annualized dividend of $1.20 per common share represents a dividend yield of 3.9%, based on the company’s common share closing price of $30.54 on January 9, 2015.
