Collectors Universe (CLCT) announced the appointment of Robert Deuster to the position of CEO, effective Oct. 15, succeeding Michael McConnell. The company reported that McConnell will continue as a member of the Board of Directors. Deuster will be a nominee to serve as a director of the company at the upcoming stockholders' meeting to be held on Nov. 19. Deuster served as Chairman and CEO of Newport Corp. (NEWP) from 1996 until his retirement in 2007. | |
