Chico's FAS is a good candidate for private equity, says Stifel Shares of Chico's are up $1.51 to $16.88 following a report by the Financial Times that said Chico's held talks with private equity firms regarding a potential sale. Stifel said the company would be a good target for private equity given its weak results over the past year and outlook for modest growth. Shares are Hold rated.
