RDA Microelectronics (RDA) announced that Samsung (SSNLF) has selected the RDASW36 switch for two Samsung models, the 2G Samsung Galaxy Star smartphone and the 3G Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo smartphone. Both smartphones are expected to be released in Q2 and will be sold in Europe and emerging markets, such as South America. Developed on Silicon-On-Insulator CMOS process technology, RDA's single pole three throw switch combines high power with low insertion loss on a small form factor, making it ideally suited for WiFi and Bluetooth applications in 2G and 3G handsets.
