CB&I has been awarded additional contracts by Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company for the Liwa Plastics Project in the Sultanate of Oman. CB&I's scope of work includes the license and engineering design of three units in addition to the previously announced award for its ethylene technology and front end engineering and design services.

CB&I announced it has been awarded an early works contract by LACC, LLC, a joint venture between Axiall Corporation and Lotte Chemical Corporation, to provide additional detailed engineering and early procurement services associated with the proposed LACC Ethane Cracker Project in Lake Charles, Louisiana. This new scope of work follows CB&I's previous supply of its proprietary ethylene technology and front-end engineering design services to LACC.

08:03 EDTCBICB&I announces expansion award for Sunoco's Mariner East 2 project
CB&I announced it has been awarded a contract valued at approximately $300M by Sunoco Partners Marketing & Terminals, LP for the expansion of the Marcus Hook Industrial Complex in Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania. The award is part of Sunoco's Mariner East 2 project. The scope of work includes the engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction of four large low-temperature tanks that will be used for the storage of refrigerated ethane, butane and propane. CB&I previously announced it is providing an ethane and propane tank for the complex as part of the Mariner East 1 project.
