CAMAC Energy announced that a long-term contract has been signed for the floating, production, storage, and offloading vessel Armada Perdana. The contract provides for an initial term of five years beginning January 1 with an automatic extension for an additional two years unless terminated by CAMAC with prior notice. The company plans to utilize the FPSO for its multi-year, high-impact development and production operations in Nigeria.

CAMAC Energy has been informed by the owner of the Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading vessel Armada Perdana, Bumi Armada Berhad, that the renewal of the FPSOís class certification is now expected to be completed by April 24. The Oyo-8 well, located in the Oyo field offshore Nigeria, is ready to commence production into the FPSO upon the vesselís class certificate renewal.
