Canon U.S.A.. (CAJ) announced that Canon has signed a global service agreement with German automobile manufacturer Volkswagen AG (VLKAY) for the provision of multifunction office systems and solutions. Over the next few years, Canon will serve as a global partner to Volkswagen, providing managed printing services and solutions through Canon multifunction office systems and laser printers to Volkswagen group offices and factories worldwide.

The Drug Enforcement Administration has been running a license-plate tracking program that has built a national database that enables it and other law enforcement agencies to track the movement of vehicles around the U.S., according to The Wall Street Journal, citing current and former officials and government documents.
