Citigroup (C) and Bank of America (BAC) may face lawsuits as the the U.S Justice Department ended talks on settling the investigation of mortgage-backed bond sales with the banks, says Bloomberg. The DoJ ended negotiations with the banks because it was not satisfied with the terms the banks' were offering, added Bloomberg. Reference Link

Citigroup subsidiary Citigroup Global Markets has reached an agreement with the New York attorney general to return $4.5M in account management fees charged on roughly 15,000 frozen accounts, Reuters reports.
