Beazer Homes announces private offering of $200M Senior Notes Beazer Homes USA announced last night that it is proposing to issue $200M aggregate principal amount of Senior Notes due 2023 in a private offering that is exempt from the registration requirements of the Securities Act of 1933. The company said it intends to offer the Notes within the United States to qualified institutional buyers in accordance with Rule 144A and outside the United States in accordance with Regulation S under the Securities Act. The company intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to fund or replenish cash that is expected to be used to fund the redemption of its 6¨þ% senior notes due 2015 and for general corporate purposes. Shares of Beazer Homes are up in midday trading, like most of the Home Builders segment. In early afternoon trade, Beazer Homes is up about 5% to $19.08.
