A Reuters report says that U.S. Senators Ron Wyden (D-WY) and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) are calling for an investigation into mining exports from the Powder River Basin in Wyoming and Montana. The report says that the Senators, as part of their call for the Interior Department investigation, cited an earlier Reuters report that examined how companies such an Arch Coal (ACI), Peabody Energy (BTU), and Cloud Peak Energy (CLD) account royalties on sales from the Basin.
