In a regulatory filing the company announced that on December 21, Bio-Reference Laboratories entered into an agreement with Meridian Clinical Laboratory Corporation, a Florida corporation having its place of business in Miami, Florida, pursuant to which the company purchased all issued and outstanding common stock of Meridian for approximately $1,850,000, of which $250,000 is deferred for one year. $1,600,000 was paid in cash. | |
