Broadcom (BRCM) announced that Comcast (CMCSA) has chosen its connected home set-top box technology for use in the RNG150N interactive STB now shipping to subscribers. Based on the Broadcom BCM7125 system-on-a-chip and running Comcast Reference Design Kit version 1.1, the Comcast RNG150N STB powers the latest in interactive HDTV programming, connectivity, whole-home media distribution and advanced 3D user interfaces.
