BlackRock (BLK) hired JPMorgan's (JPM) Christopher Jones as CIO for stocks in the Americas as the company aims to boost its active equity business, according to Bloomberg, citing a BlackRock internal memo. Jones was CIO for JPMorgan Asset Managementís growth and small-cap U.S. equity team and will join BlackRock in a few months. Jones replaces Chris Leavy, who went on medical leave in June of last year. Reference Link
