Baker Hughes announced that the international rig count for July was 1,382, up 38 from the 1,344 counted in June, and up 77 from the 1,305 counted in July 2013. The international offshore rig count for July was 336, up 16 from the 320 counted in June, and up 16 from the 320 counted in July 2013. The average U.S. rig count for July was 1,876, up 15 from the 1,861 counted in June, and up 110 from the 1,766 counted in July 2013. The average Canadian rig count for July was 350, up 110 from the 240 counted in June, and up 59 from the 291 counted in July 2013. The worldwide rig count for July was 3,608, up 163 from the 3,445 counted in June, and up 246 from the 3,362 counted in July 2013.
