Beam Inc. increases dividend 10c to annual rate of 90c Beam announced that its board of directors approved a 10% increase in the indicated annual dividend rate on the company’s common stock. The dividend will increase 8c per share to an annual rate of 90c (payable 22.5c per quarter) from 82c per share (20.5c per quarter). Says long-term target is to sustain an earnings payout ratio of approximately 35-40%.
