BD announced that David V. Elkins, EVP and CFO, has informed the Company of his plans to pursue an entrepreneurial opportunity at Round Rock Research, LLC, a technology licensing company, serving as its CFO. He will leave BD in November following the Company's release of full fiscal year 2012 results on November 7. BD's Board of Directors intends to commence a search for a successor to Mr. Elkins. Suketu Upadhyay, currently SVP and Controller, has been named as interim CFO, effective November 9. Prior to his current role, Mr. Upadhyay served as the chief financial officer for BD's international operations. | |
