Bombardier Aerospace announced that Abu Dhabi-based Falcon Aviation Services has signed a firm purchase agreement for two Q400 NextGen turboprop aircraft. Falcon Aviation Services is based at Al Bateen Executive Airport and operates a fleet of corporate jets conducting VIP charter flights, and a fleet of helicopters serving the offshore oil and gas industry. The company also conducts search and rescue; aircraft management, maintenance, repair and overhaul; as well as consulting operations. Based on the list price of the Q400 NextGen turboprop, the order is valued at approximately $61M.

14:04 EDTBDRBFBombardier Transportation wins new operations contract in New Jersey
Rail technology leader Bombardier Transportation announced that it signed a new contract with New Jersey Transit Corporation at the end of September to provide operations and maintenance services for NJ TRANSIT's River Line Light Rail system. The contract is valued at approximately U.S. $331M and covers a period of 15 years. The agreement includes an option for an additional five years. Through its wholly-owned subsidiary Southern New Jersey Rail Group, Bombardier has been operating and maintaining the River Line Light Rail system since its opening in March 2004. Bombardier's scope of work under the new contract, effective March 14, 2015, will include train operations, dispatching, vehicle maintenance as well as maintenance for all right of way, facilities and signalling infrastructure.

Bombardier announced that a wholly owned affiliate of Macquarie AirFinance has signed a firm purchase agreement for 40 CS300 jetliners and has taken options on an additional 10 CS300 aircraft. Macquarie AirFinance, which currently owns or manages 136 jet aircraft leased to 73 operators in 43 countries across six continents, will lease the CS300 aircraft to airline operators around the world. Delivery of the aircraft will be on a phased basis from 2017 to 2019.
