Bombardier Transportation and Deutsche Bahn AG have signed a frame contract for the delivery of electric locomotives. The total potential contract value is up to $2B and includes options for the call-off of up to 450 locomotives by the year 2020. The first call-off of 110 locomotives for DB Schenker Rail and 20 for DB Regio was exercised on June 17. Based on the list price, the value of 130 locomotives would be $573M. The frame agreement allows for numerous variations and technical options.

Bombardier announced today that VistaJet, a world-leading luxury aviation company and exclusive operator of Bombardier business aircraft, has placed firm orders for 20 Challenger 350 jets and options for an additional 20 Challenger 350 jets. The transaction for the firm aircraft order is valued at approximately $518M based on 2013 list prices. If all the options are exercised, the total value of the order is approximately $1.04B, based on 2013 list prices. Deliveries for the Challenger 350 aircraft, launched last May 20, will begin in mid-2014.

Bombardier Aerospace disclosed that a previously announced firm order for 10 CS100 aircraft was placed by Odyssey Airlines, a new airline that intends to operate from London City Airport. The firm order was announced on June 24, 2011. Based on the list price for the CS100 aircraft at the time of the order, the firm order is valued at $628M.

Further to the Definitive Agreement, or DA, signed on March 21, 2012 covering program commonalities between the C919 and CSeries aircraft and the Letter of Intent, or LOI, signed on November 13, 2012 signaling the beginning of Phase II of their strategic collaboration, Bombardier and the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, or COMAC, announce the signing of a DA covering four distinctive projects. The DA is to be executed as part of the second phase of the parties' long-term collaboration on leveraging commonalities between the C919 and CSeries airliners. The second phase of COMAC and Bombardier's cooperation is expected to contribute further to enhancing the competitiveness of not only the C919 and CSeries aircraft programs, but also of both COMAC and Bombardier's overall businesses, and will help with maximizing both parties' cost savings and market shares, while allowing customers of the C919 and the CSeries commercial airliners to realize cost benefits from the operation of both aircraft families.

Bombardier Transportation announced that it has won an order from SL, the Stockholm Public Transport Authority, to deliver the new generation C30 metro fleet for Stockholm, Sweden, with a contract to provide 96 MOVIA metro vehicles. The contract includes an option for up to 80 further vehicles. The firm order is valued at approximately $771M.
