British Airways (BAIRY) parent IAG (ICAGY) is "the strongest of the major European airlines" and its London-based shares could gain 30% in the next 12 months, Barron's contends in a feature article. Note that IAG's American depositary receipts recently traded at $42.74. Barron's adds that Lufthansa (DLAKY) and Air France-KLM (AFLYY) are "struggling to implement restructuring plans," leaving IAG free to tighten its grip on the European market as its fuel hedges unwind.
